am a computer science student and i'm looking for the best laptop i can get for the course. any suggestions?

it depends on your budget and purpose of your use....specify that.

I would first check to see what the school will be using mainly. For instance, some schools uses Linux heavily with Windows and vise versa. If you want it for testing, writing papers and so on, just about any laptop will do.On that note, if you are really into computer science and really want to broaden your horizon, I suggest what ever computer you want as long as it runs Linux Ubuntu or Linux Fedora
