Request for Tags.
can we do it in latex; I know there is command for; like amistre used to do it way back
How? Can you do hyperlinks in \(\mathsf{\LaTeX}\)?
pardon the ignorant computer engineer but what are <HTML> tags?
i think thats what soldiers wear about the neck? ;)
Are you saying you want to be able to input html? Seems dangerous. What do you need from it that you can't manage otherwise? Links are auto-hyperlinked, and formatting is (unfortunately) possible via Latex. (We're not really crazy about latex being used to just increase text size, but it is possible). What else were you looking for?
@lgbasallote, HTML tags are just markup for formatting a document, like a website. I imagine the request stems from others wanting to "format" their responses, e.g. bold, italics, etc.
(even though those are all "poor" uses for HTML, but that's just like... my opinion, man... :P )
@mattfeury -- if you do implement richtext input , please allow users to TOGGLE it. I prefer plaintext + LaTeX. Also , if there is a way to toggle the preview of your post as you're typing it, that would be great. :)
