I am having trouble fiuring out a formula. I know that 10.7 is 10 +7% 0o on calculator(10 x 1.07) but how do I reverse it? if I take 10.x .93 I get 9.951

10.7 = 1.07 (10) => 10 = 10.7/1.07 simple eh ?

you have multiplied 1.07 before, to reverse it you divide it. becos division is the inverse operation of multiplication :P
