Which of the following is the simplified form of the quantity x squared minus 16 over the quantity x plus 4 ? x + 4, with the restriction x ≠ 4 x – 4, with the restriction x ≠ 4 x + 4, with the restriction x ≠ –4 x – 4, with the restriction x ≠ –4

with the denominator being x+4, the restriction is pretty obvious... (HINT: denominator cannot be zero). then factor the numerator \(\large x^2-16 \) and cancell the common factor from top and bottom..

is it x + 4 restriction x = -4?
