Did I get this right?
Use synthetic division to solve:
(x^2 + 13x + 40) / (x + 8)
My answer is in the comments.

I got:
40x - 307 + 2457/x+8
Every answer I find on yahoo says it's x + 5 but that's not how my notes said it'd be done.
