having trouble solving fractional notation for the ratio of 379 to 910 so i need help on this

OpenStudy (amistre64):

\[\frac{379}{910}\]???

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it looks to be about 4/9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how you get that do you simplify it or divide it?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if we move the decimal over the same amount on top and bottom we get: \[\frac{3.79}{9.1}\] which rounds to about 4 on top and 9 on the bottom

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im not too sure what the actual question is tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got it now i read my question wrong because it said Find the fractional notation of the ratio of 379 to 910 and the other question said write it in fraction not simplify

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the answer you gave me in the first place was right but thank you

OpenStudy (amistre64):

:) youre welcome. and good luck
