Which is the name given to a favorable outcome in an experiment?
You can name it whatever you want. I like the name Theodore.
Wow.
This is not really the right study group, as mathematicians don't do experiments. Also, my understanding was that there was no such thing as a 'favorable outcome' in an experiment, since you are supposed to be neutral and unbiased.
success?
Success is probably the actual answer.
the word "which" indicates that there are options; and that this is most likely some homework/test question
I like when textbooks and courses make up their own definitions of terms that aren't used in the actual field, and then test students on those definitions. That's good pedagogy.
lol, welcome to Florida
Hey, Cookie. Welcome to Open Study =D If you click on the blue bar up top where it says "Mathematics," you can then click on "find more subjects" and you can look through the subjects to decide which one your question fits in best. This question would fit best in a science group.
yes success
