how do you graph this? f(x)=1/2(-x+2)^2-5

put it like this: f(x)=-1/2(x-2)^2-5 so its a parabola with vertex at (2,-5)

how do i know what the rest of the points are?
Do you have a graphing calculator? if you do, you can plug the equation in. If you dont, you can try an online graphing calculator or you could do it manually.plug in a number for x and you will end up with a value for y here are some of the other points (-2 , -13 ) (-1 , -9.5 ) (0 , -7) (1 ,-5.5 ) ( 2 , -5)
