I like the elements of being a web developer but as a beginner I can't really say that I know if I like it yet. I suppose I am asking more if this is a relevant course to begin this career.

actually if u r in web development stream you should give a prefrence to learn PHP or HTML
rather than Python

well python also also has huge applications in web development..

yes python wib google app engine and django framework is no lesss usefull.. Pinterest for example is based on django framework and python. that said HTML is a must bt u cn go through it in no time..
