What is the SmartScore for? How do I increase my Engagement?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SmartScore shows your productivity on this site. Engagement is increased by joining in chat and replying to questions. You can look through this for some extra info :) http://blog.openstudy.com/2012/04/09/to-boldly-go-where-no-grades-have-gone-before/ Or right under where it says "SmartScore" in the upper right it shows the 3 different areas and then there is a blue box that says "what is smartscore?" Good luck!

No problem!

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

chatting increases engagement?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, I thought it did. Until you asked.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i dont know. i was asking.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

all i know about engagement score is: you log in every day that's a point you ask a question that's a point you interact with the people \(\textbf{*responding*}\) to your question that's a point i dont know what else goes into the criteria. im not really a big fan of the "engagement score" im more of a problem solving-slash-teamwork guy :S lol

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

Asking question, logging in, and discussing your own problem with the people who are helping you out is usually the best way to get your engagement problem up. Basically, be interactive. :)

by giving more answers

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

1) that's illegal 2) that doesnt increase engagement lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahaha illegal xD <---if you do you could get banned :x and @ducky does chatting do anything for SS?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

poor innocent user just got tagged...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:D Nice discussion! i think I got it now. Thanks to all!
