I am writing a Research Brief related to talent identification in visual art and would like to include images of student work. I understand how to cite, but not how and where to include such in the format of the paper. Can you point me to information? Thank you.

Thank you for providing the comprehensive resource for in-text citation. However, I may not have been clear in my question. I am wondering how do I format the image itself into the paper. Do I insert it within the text (text wrapping), create a larger margin area to the left or right making room for adding the image, or should it be centered between paragraphs, or even just added at the end of the paper like a table? It is the inclusion of the art itself that I am inquiring about. Again, sorry for not being clear.

If this is a paper in MLA you do not and never, to my knowledge, include pictures/images, ever. However, you can refer to the picture's name and painter.
