Which medium (the glass, water or diamond), is the most dense and how do you know?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plese help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

water 1, glass 2.5 and diamond 3.5... these values are in kg/m^3 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well yo need to multiply with 1000

OpenStudy (shane_b):

\[density=\frac{mass}{volume}\]In your question, diamond is the most dense of the 3 choices. You could verify this my taking a volume of each material and measure that volume's mass. Then just calculate its density using the formula.
