phospholipids are needed mostly for cell membrane sturcture, glycogen is the body's sugar stores, glycerol is an important part of most fats ie triglycerides/phospholipds, so you answer is fatty acids they act as cholesterol in the cell membrane to provide support while omega3 fatty acids are anti-inflammitory
