What's you're y-intercept in this problem?
Whatever is your y-interecept, is your answer.
Based on the fact that when they first opened, we were 0 years away from the opening year (1990). x always represents time in linear equations. So if we plug in a 0 for our x's, all terms that have x's next to them are eliminated. Leaving us with only one number on the right-hand side...the y-intercept.
y = -5(0)^2 + 72(0) + 378 y = ???
