OpenStudy (anonymous):

The splope is -9/8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I THINK she is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you think..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[{\frac {y_{{f}}-y_{{i}}}{x_{{f}}-x_{{i}}}} \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i havn't tried it out for myself but i am sure you know what yo uare doing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

change in y divided by change in x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is true

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i tried it for myself and @unearthly09 is definitely right :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

of course she is :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

\[slope=m=\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{\Delta y}{\Delta x}=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\]After a little substitution, you will get the answer noted above. This is a very important formula; you need to know it without looking it up.
