What about this one ?? An aquarium sells cubic fish tanks of different sizes. The length of the small-size fish tank is 2 feet. The dimensions of the jumbo-size fish tank are double the dimensions of the small-size fish tank. Which expression can be used to find the ratio of the volume of the small size-fish tank to the volume of the jumbo-size fish tank?

Answer to Question 1) Area of rectangle = l*w Area of Circle = pi*r^2 But we have to quarter circles which make up a semi-circle. So the area of the circle in this problem is: (pi*r^2)/2 Rectangle = 30 * 60 = 1800 Circle = (pi * 30 * 30)/2 = 450pi = 1413.716 Rectangle - Circle = Shaded Area = 386.28 Answer to Question 2) \[2^{3}/4^{3}\]
