If an object is changing direction, it has acceleration. True or False?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

True!!!

you sir are a great help!

OpenStudy (shane_b):

The reason why it's true is because acceleration is defined as the change in velocity divided by the change in time:\[a=\frac{dV}{dt}\]Since velocity is a vector containing a magnitude and direction, change either value changes the acceleration.
