Distribution property as a rule isn't that vital on this particular problem. Just divide both terms in the numerator by -2.
What do you get when you do that?
And remember a negative divided by a negative ALWAYS produces a positive.
2(x - 5) ------- -2 The two's cancel -(x - 5) -x + 5 or 5 - x
