Sound waves are vibrations that travel in the air. These vibrations tend to bounce around and become disturbed when they come in contact with objects; especially solid objects like walls. These sounds need to be in a certain frequency range in order for humans to hear them. When a frequency or sound is formed, it disturbs the air around it and makes that nice little tune that you're listening to on your radio. - Regards, Compassionate.
