What is the volume of a triangular prism with a height of 7 inches and a base that is an equilateral triangle with sides of 6 inches? 63 radical 3 in3 147 in3 126 in3 84 radical 3 in3

OpenStudy (ledah):

have you tried the volume formula?

OpenStudy (ledah):

volume=1/2*length*width*height.

OpenStudy (ledah):

Just plug in the values for the formula and solve :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait i dont get really like what do i plug in

OpenStudy (ledah):

the height length and width. height being 7 whoa do they really not give you any other number besides 7 and 6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i multiply 6 time 7 or something

OpenStudy (ledah):

normally yes. you would multiply 7*width*length*1/2 to get the volume. but I think there are two numbers missing. that would be the width and length.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what do i do next
