Let A = {2, 4, 6} and let B = {x, y}. Find A X B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"A X B" is read as "A cross B" and what you do is you create a new set, and the members will be ordered pairs. You should put every possible ordered pair that has something from A and then something from B. Quick example: A = {1,2} B = {orange, blue} A X B = {(1,orange), (1, blue), (2,orange), (2,blue)}
