I have a question I wanna see If I am correct

OpenStudy (waheguru):

OpenStudy (waheguru):

20= b 21= none

OpenStudy (waheguru):

So Do you have the asnwer

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

20 3x - 4 = 5x - 8 gives x = 2 3x - 4 = x + 6 gives x = 5 5x - 8 = x + 6 gives x = 3,5 first is not possible as it wouldn't make a triangle second is possible third has sides 9.5, 9.5 and 6.5 - possible so i make it 2

OpenStudy (waheguru):

How cant the first one be a triangle?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

21 for equilateral triangle 2x + 7 = 3x - 4 = 5x - 8 x = 11 from first 2 - not consistent with 5x - 8 yes 21 = none

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

i'll recheck 3(2) - 4 = 2 5(2) - 8 = 2 but x + 6 = 8

OpenStudy (waheguru):

Yea But is not that an Issioles triangle

OpenStudy (waheguru):

|dw:1342562124948:dw|

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

but 6 > 2+ 2 - so no triangle

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no 8 > 2 + 2

OpenStudy (waheguru):

I dont understand

OpenStudy (waheguru):

We can have a triangle with 2 sides = 2 and one side 8

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

you can't have a triangle with one side = 8 and other 2 = 2 try and draw it: |dw:1342562286369:dw|
