This makes absolutley no sense to me, could someone help me through step by step?? John began his job making $25 the first day. After that he was paid $6.75 per hour.Make a T-table for the equation for this, using the x-values 0, 20, 40. Type in the ordered pairs you get as your answer, in this form: (0, number), (20, number), (40, number).

alright so the first day 25 dollars was made and on the next few days it was 6.75/hr. If you denote x=hours, Total will equal= First day + All other days

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets say total is T T=First day + other days since we know the first day is a guranteed 25 we can put that in T=25+other days

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now remember earlier we said that x was going to be the number of hours Otherdays was 6.75*hours=6.75x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

replacing this into the equation we gt T=25+6.75x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now all youhave to simply do is put in the values for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I still don't understand this.

A T-table is a table where you have x on one side and your T on the other so in other words |dw:1342578616545:dw|
