whats an example of acceleration?

OpenStudy (eujc21):

A car that keeps on increasing its velocity.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

accelaration is changing your velocity in time. For example You re walking some length in 5 minutes. But when you run that length you be more acceraleted.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Remember that g = a*t, plug in numbers. We know the a = 9.8, and t varies. Dropping a rock from the top of a building. Assuming no air resistance it will increase at \[9.8m/s^2\] That is \[g = 9.8m/s^2\]
