triangles PRQ & STQ are similar
ratio of any of their corresponding sides is same

PR/ST = PQ/QS

18/12 = PQ/16
PQ = (18/12)*16

I'm not sure I understood that @Ramya25 I kinda have the idea but I haven't done geometry in two years. o.o I'm trying to help someone and I have the worst migraine ever so (if you don't mind) elementary language would be extremely useful.

ok this is actually very simple.
only thing to be careful about is to figuring out which two triangles are similar.
