hmmm this happens to me occasionally. Have you tried clearing your cache? I usually wait it out but if it takes to long I copy/cut my reply and then refresh and then put it back. Don't refresh without copying though or you lose your reply.

Chrome hangs a bit too sometimes. Not always. But yea clear your cache, it reduces lag for me.
