If Matrix A has dimensions 2 x 4 and Matrix B has dimensions 1 x 4, can these matrices be multiplied? YES OR NO

Here's the rule with matrix multiplicaton: "the inner dimensions must match" If the inner dimensions match, then the result will be a matrix with the size given by the outer dimensions. So in this case we have 2 x 4 times 1 x 4 4 and 1 are the inner dimensions 2x (4 1) x4 THEY DON'T MATCH. :( So the multiplication is not possible.
