What’s the connection between a universal genetic code and the way evolutionary scientists believe life began on Earth?

First of all, thanks for your patience. The universal genetic code is the observation that all organisms known to science (we don't know everything about the earth) have the same genetic code in their DNA. In DNA replication, adenine always pairs with thymine; cytosine always pairs with guanine. And in protein synthesis, the same codons always correspond to the same amino acids - no matter what form of life you look at. And the processes by which information is stored in the DNA, transmitted through the RNA and translated into proteins is always the same. Is that helpful?
