Solve the system y = 2x + 6 and 3y = 6x + 18 by using graph paper or graphing technology. What is the solution to the system?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

infinity solutions they're the same line... if you look at your equations 3y=6x+18 y=2x+6 the top if you divide by 3, you get the bottom. Therefore it's the same line if you put a line on top of another line how many times would they hit

if you want to go more into detail you can create a parameter by allowing x=t if x=t, y=2t+6 {t,2t-6} would be the answer to every solution... but i don't think it's necessary
