Sasha made four models of airplane wings, as shown below. http://learn.flvs.net/webdav/assessment_images/educator_geometry_v14/pool_Geom_3641_0400_Subtest_01_01/image0034e2704ab.jpg Which model is a right triangle? Model C Model A Model B Model D I am pretty sure C is, if I use the pythagoras theorem for a right triangle of a^2+b^2=c^2 Perhaps?
The answer is A, model C.
Well, what do need help with? since you already know the answer..
I'm just making sure I'm doing it right lol so many formulas to keep track of .-. My "reply" was supposed to be a question haha
I was just clarifying the "c" from my original post.
Okay let's do it one one to see which triangle is right ok?
Okay! :)
A. = 1 + 81 ≠ 100 B. = 4 + 9 ≠ 25 C. = 81 + 144 = 225 :D lol
lol, you have already done it
haha :D I really wanted to make sure though bc my brain is like Dx haha
Okay; indeed you're right. It's C, you understand why?
\[12^2 +9^2 = 225\] which is equal to \(15^2\)
I think because a^2 + b^2 = c^2 I just did it from the smallest number to the largest and plugged the numbers into the x
oh yess. Thanks Mimi :3
It has to be equal for instance its the not the first one forgot \(1^2+9^2 = 82\) which is not equal to \(10^2\)
And you're welcome! :D
not the first one because*
