2 house, shapped the same positioned apart like a hyperbola. equation is: (y^2/900)-(x^2/225)=1 (x and y in yards) first part, how far apart are the houses at their closests points? Verticies are at (0,+_30) so, 15 yards. second, How far apart are the houses 10 yards away (in the x direction) from their closests points? not even sure where to start...
