OpenStudy (anonymous):

How many letters are?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 letters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And how many letters can we choose from?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know it doesnt say

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We have to choose from 26 letters, right? A, B, C, D, E, ... and so on. How can we use this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes and i dont know how to do this problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

26p3=15600

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the first letter, we can choose any of the 26 possibles. For the second letter, we can chosse from 25 letters (we can't choose the one that we choose first) And for the last, we can choose from 24 letters (we can't choose any of the ones that we had previoulsy chosen)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

total letters 26 used =3 (since they are case sensitive repetition is not allowed) 26P3=15600

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Isn't it? 26*25*24=15600?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, same thing.
