OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the relation between surface tension and viscosity?

OpenStudy (stephstar101):

Surface tension is the amount of attraction the surface of a liquid has whereas viscosity is the resistance in the flow of a liquid.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so they dont really have anything to do with one another, like, the surface tension does not really affect the viscosity of water?

OpenStudy (stephstar101):

They both relate to liquid properties, if that could be counted.
