I think the answer is B? Look at the locations X, Y, and Z on the road map shown below. http://learn.flvs.net/webdav/assessment_images/educator_geometry_v14/pool_Geom_3641_0400_Subtest_03_10/image0064e27277b.jpg What is the distance between location X and location Y? 6/sec 65º miles cot 65º/6 miles 6/cot 65º miles sec 65º/6 miles

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

You can make the equation \[\cot(65^\circ)=\frac{6}{XY}\]From this, what should be the correct answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh C? Like if 6 is the numberator. I'm also pretty sure that this problem uses cot(x).

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

C would be my answer. I'm also pretty sure it uses \(\cot\) (or \(\tan\)) but that isn't an option.

Thank you so much KG! :D I really, really appreciate it c:

OpenStudy (kinggeorge):

You're welcome.
