From the second link there "The Median is the "middle number" (in a sorted list of numbers)."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The median is the middle of a set of data. From the median, there are as many in the data set that are bigger as smaller.

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

are you talking about the median of a set of numbers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk cwrw238

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, if you take all the numbers you have available in the set and sort them in order (either descending or ascending) and then pick the one in the middle. If there is no middle you take the average of the two in the middle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain it slowly pleazz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

n easy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For example: 1, 3, 10, 15, 3, 4, 2 If we sort those in order from smallest to largest you have: 1,2,3,3,4,10,15 Then we find the one in the middle which is 3
