then i also have to find y i am not sure what i am supposed to do on these

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use: \[\tan(30) = \frac{Opposite}{Adjacent}\] \[\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}} = \frac{x}{7}\] Can you find x from it??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay how did you get 1/square root of 3 = x/7 sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(tan(30) = \frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}\) Opposite side has length x and adjacent side is given 7.. So, just put this in the equation above: tan(30) = Opp/Adj
