PLease help for Perimeter?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Parth (parthkohli):

Where are you stuck right there?

Parth (parthkohli):

We just have to find the hypotenuse for the triangle that we have not shaded, and then add that to 5 + 27.5.

Parth (parthkohli):

\( \color{Black}{\Rightarrow 8^2 + 15^2 = c^2}\)

Parth (parthkohli):

Find \(c\), will you be able to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah.. its 17?

Parth (parthkohli):

Yep.

Parth (parthkohli):

So, what is \(5 + 27.5 + 17\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats why I posted this because I've tried uSing 27.5+5+P=___ and I cant find the whole perimeter.. so if like this equations I cant use Pytha again, or it depends?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*can

Parth (parthkohli):

Hmm

Parth (parthkohli):

You gotta see the patterns. Math is about trying to *explore* things.
