Pulley based Question {H C V - Q.27 - Chapter 5 [NLM] .}

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

I didn't gt the second part of the question:/ However I gt the acceleration of blocks which is \[4.28 \space m/s^2 \approx 4.3 \space m/s^2.\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awcond part of the question is if rope breaks what would be the motion of m1 add it as m1g+F=5kg*9.8+1N then you may find acceleration to define how it is falling down

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@maheshmeghwal9 i think what the second part says is this: if the string breaks, tension will no longer be acting on m1. then the only forces acting on m1 will its weight and F, both vertically downwards. so, the eq will be m1*g + F = m1*a. the motion of m1 will be: m1 moving downwards with acceleration a.

lol viadehi explained it better good guddi. . .

'good guddi'! lol thanks!
