You are watching television to learn about an important current natural disaster. One channel describes the event as "tragic," another describes it as "horrific," and a third channel describes the event as "a blemish on the President's already shaky record." When you compare these three news reports, what you can deduce? The reporter on the first channel is afraid of upsetting the President. The reporter on the third channel is biased against the President. The reporter on the second channel is uninformed about the event. The reporters are all working for the U.S. government.
