One circular table has a diameter of 9ft and another circular table has a diameter of 20 ft how much greater is the area of the larger table? Answers are either 336ft, 1002ft, 146ft, or 251ft. There is no picture/s. Thanks!

OpenStudy (phi):

The area of a circle is pi*r*r or \( \pi r^2 \) so figure out the radius r (1/2 the diameter) square it (r*r) multiply by 3.14 do that for both circles. subtract the smaller from the bigger to get the answer.
