The coordinate grid below shows Triangle STU and its image after translation, Triangle S′T′U′. Which coordinate rule represents the translation seen?
@Liltico @experimentX
@Desireegb @dpaInc @agentx5
just pick ANY vertex of the preimage and compare that with the image.... it will be a combination of horizontal and vertical translation....
for example, take U and U'.... how far apart are the x-coordinates, and how far apart are the y-coordinates between image and preimage?
(x, y) →(x + 7, y – 3) (x, y) →(x + 11, y + 2) (x, y) →(x + 7, y + 2) (x, y) →(x + 11, y – 3) These are my choices @dpaInc
@radar can you help?
it is one of those choices... can you do what I suggested? pick any point.... what are its coordinates?
I got the first one??
what point did you pick?
U
@dpaInc
are the answer chooses?
8,-2 i think its that
my choices are listed abouve @Liltico
:) (x, y) →(x + 11, y + 2) i think its Tht one
@ HELP101, I see that @dpainc has already provided you with a method to solve this.
