what formula and format do i use to answer this ; ATTACHED FILE; Help please
@Bambi @muhammad9t5 @apoorvk @henrietta help ? please
Hmm, ever heard of the Pythagorean theorem?
I would first solve for the h=height by letting a^2 + 9^2 = 15^2 that would equal a^2 + 81=225 then a^2=225-81 a^2= the square root of 144 a=12. h = 12. then plug in 1/2(b)(h) and you have your answer.
hello bro use Area=1/2*base*hypatenuse then you will get your answer... Then give me medal thanks for asking question from me.
@muhammad9t5 - am sorry, but are is NOT equal to (1/2)x(base)x(hypotenuse). \[Area = \frac 12 \times Altitude \times Base\]
Yes, 1/2 x base x height. please, not the hypotenuse :)
that is right! note, we just apply Pythagorean Theorem if the triangle is a right triangle. :))
We can apply it here, since its a right triangle.
