What is 1,899,944 rounded to the nearest million?
@Romero don't tell me what to do -_- 2,000,000 :)@candyforlife
@Compassionate If you can't explain then don't say it. I can give a different answer and I'm not more right than you just because I didn't explain it.
@Compassionate If you actually knew how to teach then the asker wouldn't be asking the same exact questions over and over again. Shows how much you are helping: http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/500ad564e4b0549a892f2a9d
I gave him the right answer the first time. He's either trolling or a dumbass.
@compassionate Hahah I think your the dumbass. Haha can't teach for pellet.
It's not very nice to directly insult someone. It's against the rules and can easily result in a warning from a moderator. Let's be logical, I gave him the answer when he clearly asked for it. He didn't ask for it to be explained, no text, just told us to round it. If he is unwilling to say anything further or add any detail than that is not my problem.
@compassionate It's called the code of conduct and yeah you are right. You are not suppose to insult people the same way you did to the asker. Giving answers is also against the code of conduct which makes me believe you haven't read it at all. Your last sentence clearly shows you are a bad teacher. Please be respect of other people if you want to be also treated with respect.
I'm not trying to teach people. I've read the CoC. I did not insult OP directly, I made a suggestion.
@Compassionate Hey that's the point of this site. It's not answers.com leave if you are just going to give answers.
Sometimes I give answers and sometimes I don't. Do not question my infallible teaching skills!
@compassionate giving answers is not teaching. Do you go to school? You would know if you did
Do I go to school? Haha, funny. Look, Romero, I see your point of view, and that's great, but my teaching methods are different than your own. I believe if a student can see a problem solved a number of times; then he will grasp the concept. If you haven't noticed, in a lot of the answers I give, I'll give a few example problems. On others I will give one example problem and walk them through the steps. Only on a few will I just give them the answer, and that's usually on really easy questions. I hope you can understand that our methods of teaching differ and respect my own methods. This conversation is no longer worth my time if you are not willing to understand that people have different belies and concepts when it comes to certain topics. Good day, sir.
