If C = {2, 3, 4, 5} and D = {numbers divisible by 2 from 1 to 10}, what is C ∩ D?

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

Two questions: 1) What numbers are in the set D? 2) Do you know what the symbol \(\cap \) means?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

union is the set of all elements that are either is C or D, and we do not repeat elements in a set.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nos. divisible by 2 from 1 to 10 { 2,4,6 ,8} = D C={2,3,4,5} . C intersection D means common elements in both C and D {2,4}
