plz help 15xy^2/x^2+5x+6/5x^2y/2x^2+7x+3?? I'll up load a better picture.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

factor the polinomials (15xy^2/(x+2)(x+3))*((x+3)(2x+1)/5x^2*y)

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

Remember when you have one fraction on top of another you must "invert and multiply" by the bottom fraction. Your problem is actually asking you to reduce this: \[\huge \frac{15xy^2}{x^2+5x+6}\cdot \frac{2x^2+7x+3}{5x^2y}\] The trick now is to factor the polynomials and go cancel-happy. :)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

x+3 cancels make a note x != -3 5 devides 15 , y devides y^2 (3x^(-1)y/(x+2))*(2x+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay than you so it would look like this (15xy^2/(x+2)(x+3))*((x+3)(2x+1)/5x^2*y)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and then sum of these cross out???????

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

yes write it as (15xy^2)/(5x^2y) * ((x+3)(2x+1)/(x+3)(x+2))
