Someone please help me dont understand this
geometry terminology is not one of my fortes :/
do you notice that 2 is also stated in the "given" part up in the left top corner?
yeah i just need the answer to reson 4 & 6
statement 5 is the only one on the left that is blank, so it most likely follow that it will correspond to the letter that matches in format
4 and 6 eh
it would help to know the definitions of c and e then, which i dont :)
6 seems like its pointing to angles that are in opposite corners, so if i were to guess; id say that is most likely alternating angles .... but id have to google it to be sure
according to the google; 4 relates to alternating angles|dw:1342902253971:dw|
since its given that A and C are equal angles; and we can follow a path from angle to angle to side, all being equal; id have to say that the last one is according to AAS
|dw:1342902449105:dw|
reason 6 is aas?
do you see it as something else?
statements 1 and 2 are given in the "given" section at the start of it statement 3 is already filled in for you and defines that angles as alternate angles statement 4 says the angles in 3 are congruent, why? by the alternate angle thrm of course statement 5 is saying the length of side (or line) is the same from end to end no matter which end you start at and the last statement says that we can end our proof since we can follow equal paths from Angle to Angle to Side (AAS)
