m using calculus based approach find the critical point by differentiating the function to get maximum height \[h'(t)=200-8t\] set equal to zero \[200-8t=0\] \[t=\frac{200}{8}=25\] put in the original equation to get maximum height \[h=4*25(50-25)=2500 m\] this is the maximum height graph is

can u do rest of the parts :) if not let me know

@sami-21 i honestly didn't understand a thing that you typed .... The question asks to sketch the graph 0<t<50 And I don't know how to do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok to plot this just take some point of t and put in the equation and get corresponding value of h then you will have some order pairs plot these on the graph join all of them. and thats it let me do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take point t=0,10,20,30,40,50 put all of the above in the equation h(0)=4*0(50-0)=0 h(10)=4*10(50-10)=1600 h(20)=4*20(50-20)=2400 h(30)=4*30(50-30)=2400 h(40)=4*40(50-40)=1600 h(50)=4*50(50-50)=0 so we have to plot the points to some scale take 1 unit =400m on h axis and 1unit =10 sec on t axis (0,0),(10,1600,),(20,2400),(30,2400),(40,1600),(50,0) here is rough sketch to suitable scale |dw:1342997144750:dw|
