take the original telephone bill to be x now 5% discount on it will be 5x/100 now telephone bill after discount is x-5x/100 this is equal to $79.50 Solve and get x.
the answer is 79.5 / .95 = 83.68 aapx
the original bill is $83.68 @matricked U r Right!!
