Can you explain me the function of bypass capacitor in an amplifier very cleary??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think to stop the dc components!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we use capacitor in an amplifier!

or

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To avoid an ac signal Voltage from being developed across the emitter resistor which would cause a reduction in the amplifier`s gain we use bypass capacitor in an amplifier in common emitter amplifier

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this type of reduction of gain is so called degenerative feed back which can be removed by using bypass capacitor in an amplifier
