you are driving a motorcycle on a horizantal road .it is moving with uniform velocity .is it possible to accelerate the motorcycle without putting higher petrol input rate into the engine?

@ash2326

OpenStudy (ash2326):

When the engine runs at a faster rate the bike will accelerate, for the engine to run faster we need to provide more fuel in the same time. I think it's not possible to accelerate without putting higher petrol input rate into the engine.

OpenStudy (ash2326):

@Ruchi. I'm not sure about this, please do confirm this. @suyash011 what do you think?

@ash2326

OpenStudy (ash2326):

oops I don't have an idea about this. I'm so sorry :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay fine

OpenStudy (ash2326):

@Ruchi. Please post only one question at a time, if you want to post another. Post it as a new one, after closing this Thanks:)

@HERO HLP ME OUT

I think JamesJ is the guy for this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it will need highr petrol input rate coz if we accelerate more, the rate at which the petrol will be consumed will increase, increasing the demand for the input of petrol, thus needing a higher input rate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
